Debt recovery

SDSL as part of its services is involved in the straight collection of non-performing loans on behalf of financial institutions as well as the collection of non-performing accounts receivables on behalf of other blue-chip companies in sectors such as oil marketing, car sales, insurance, hotels, mining, to mention a few.

Fixed Deposits

This is an investment instrument with a fixed rate of return and varying tenors (30 days, 91 days, 182 days, 365 days etc). Payment of interest is made upon maturity/end of agreed. Funds placed in a Fixed Deposit usually cannot be withdrawn prior to maturity or they can only be withdrawn with advanced notice and/or by having a penalty assessed.

Turnaround and Restructuring of distressed companies

Another service line SDSL is involved in are non-performing accounts which are targets of debt recovery but do have potential to grow and are also saddled with some organisational handicaps such as lack of technical expertise, working capital and ineffective management.
